Where Imagination becomes Reality!

So you’ve heard the term “blog” and you want to know what blogs are all about and of course, how it can benefit your business. Well you’ve come to the right place.

What is a blog?

Let’s begin with some definitions. A bit dry, we realise, but this is a necessary evil. First we’ll define the word this whole topic is based around – blog. A blog is a frequently updated online personal journal or diary. It is a place to express yourself to the world. A place to share your thoughts and your passions. Really, it’s anything you want it to be. For our purposes we’ll say that a blog is your own website that you are going to update on an ongoing basis. Blog is a short form for the word weblog and the two words are used interchangeably. A blog gives you, as a business, the opportunity to reach out to customers, new and old. A blog helps bringing your business to life. You can report about a new feature you are working on bringing to your website or store, it can be a hot product coming on the shelves, a new service being launched, or perhaps a story about a new employee, joining the ranks in your company. It can be many things, really. Important to take with you from this is, that you with a blog can bring news to your followers or website visitors, it can help with your website ranking (SEO) and can help convince potential customers, to become active. We can help you with that, using blogging as a benefit to your business, in order to engage those customers.

Many businesses neglect blogging

We know how it is when being focused at work. You neglect marketing, you focus entirely on what you do best, you sell your services and/or products. We get it. There are only 24 hours in a day, and juggling many balls at once for a long period of time, is a disaster waiting to happen. What has been a client yesterday, may not automatically be a client tomorrow, as the goodwill of this client can switch to other providers that understand how to activate and engage their customers in an instant. Blogging is not the new kid in class, it’s simply not used enough. It’s an untapped market, an unused opportunity. You can use blogs to engage customers via Social media, you can link to blogs through Newsletters, you can use it in your marketing material – there are many ways to use your blogs to your own benefit.

How we can help?

At Mindstormers we like to see things through the eyes of our clients. When we write a blog posts about our clients’ businesses, and their chosen topics, we start off with doing elaborate research about that topic on hand, talk to our clients via phone calls, conference calls, or personal meetings, and take notes along the way. A blog post can be written short and crispy, or long and elaborate. Knowing that readers of blogs don’t have time to read elaborate articles, we like to keep it short and crispy. We write articles with a length of approximately 500-1500 words, in DanishEnglish and German. If you need to have a blog post written in another language, don’t worry – we have a range of freelancers connected to our company, that can help you in practically any language spoken worldwide. We can write blog posts within a day (if some news are hot and needs to be shared right away), but most often, we’d like to take 2-4 days to work on the post, so we can double-check for spelling and writing errors.
